In most emergencies the casualty is not standing next to your vest. They are two meters away, around a vehicle, on the wrong side of a slope. A standard MOLLE pouch makes you work where you happen to be mounted — this quick release IFAK pouch comes off in one pull.

Tear it free, carry it to the casualty, or hand the whole kit to the trained person nearby. The tourniquet rides on the outside, so bleeding control starts before the zipper even opens.

Why This Tear-Away Medical Pouch Works

1. Detaches in One Pull, Stays Put the Rest of the Time

The pouch is held to its platform by load-bearing hook-and-loop with a side-release buckle as a safety. On the trail, on the range, in a vehicle — it does not move. In an emergency, one decisive pull releases the entire pouch. That is the whole point of a tear-away design: the kit goes to the patient, not the patient to the kit.

2. Tourniquet Outside, Shears Inside Their Own Pocket

Two webbing rows on the top flap carry a CAT-style tourniquet externally — no unzipping to reach the single most time-critical tool in the kit. Trauma shears get a dedicated snap-closed pocket. When someone else grabs your pouch, the two tools they need first are already where their hands go.

3. Three MOLLE Cells, Not Your Whole Vest

The platform occupies just three PALS cells, leaving your plate carrier or pack free for magazine, water, and radio pouches. At 420 g, it earns its place without weighing down your loadout.

4. Built for Dark, Dirt, and Rain

Dual-slider zippers with silent paracord pulls, a drainage grommet in the floor, interior elastic loops that hold items in fixed positions, and a 5 × 5 cm identification cross so a rescuer can find the medical pouch without reading a label.

5. Empty Bag, Your Configuration

Ships as an empty pouch so you can pair it with your own tourniquets, dressings, and hemostatic gauze — or sell it as-is to buyers building their own kits. If you prefer a filled configuration, talk to us; note that adding medical contents changes the product's legal classification (see Compliance).

6. Five Colors, OEM Logo Ready

Khaki, CP camo, black camo, black, and OD green. Silk-screen, heat transfer, embroidery, and woven labels are all available for your logo.

Specifications

Sized for a Working IFAK Loadout

*Pressure bandage ×1 · hemostatic gauze ×1

*Ventilated chest seals ×2 (flat-packed)

Compliance & Documentation

This pouch is sold empty and is a general consumer textile product. Applicable frameworks:

*EU GPSR (EU) 2023/988 — effective December 13, 2024, an EU responsible person is required, with their postal and electronic address on the product, packaging, or accompanying documents. Kebon provides the technical documentation package to support your compliance process.

*REACH — azo dyes, phthalates, and heavy-metal limits for textiles and hardware; test reports available on request.

*US channels — California Prop 65 considerations for hardware and prints; FTC textile labeling for fiber content and country of origin.

*No CE marking applies — as an empty textile pouch, this product falls outside CE directives, and we do not claim otherwise.

If you add medical contents — a pouch supplied with a tourniquet, hemostatic dressings, or chest seals is a medical device product in the EU (MDR 2017/745) and FDA-regulated in the US. Documentation, labeling, and responsibilities change accordingly. Plan the import path before ordering a filled configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a tear-away IFAK pouch?

An IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) pouch that detaches from its mounting platform with one pull. The pouch is held by hook-and-loop with a buckle safety: secure during normal activity, releasable instantly in an emergency so you can carry the whole kit to the casualty.

How does the quick-release system work without falling off by accident?

Two mechanisms share the job. The wide hook-and-loop panel carries the everyday load — bumps, running, rain. A side-release buckle adds a positive lock. Releasing the pouch requires a deliberate pulling motion, not incidental contact.

Does the pouch come with medical supplies?

No. It ships as an empty pouch. Most buyers pair it with their own tourniquet, pressure bandage, chest seals, and gloves — see our suggested loadout above.

Can a CAT tourniquet mount on the outside?

Yes. The top flap carries two webbing rows designed for external tourniquet attachment, so the tourniquet is accessible without opening the pouch. We recommend confirming your specific tourniquet model's fit at the sampling stage.

Will it fit a full IFAK loadout at 20 × 12 × 5 cm?

The pouch is sized for a compact IFAK: tourniquet (external), pressure bandage, chest seals, gloves, shears, and a marker. If your program carries bulkier items, request a sample and test-fit your exact configuration before ordering.

Which MOLLE gear can it mount on?

Any platform with standard PALS webbing: plate carriers, chest rigs, backpacks, belt rigs, and vehicle panels. The platform needs just three cells.

Can you add our logo and match custom colors?

Yes. Silk-screen, heat transfer, embroidery, and woven labels are available, and the five standard colors can be matched to custom colors at quantity. MOQ is 500 pieces.

What certifications apply to this product?

As an empty textile pouch, it is a general consumer product — no CE marking applies, and we document material compliance (REACH, Prop 65) instead. Kebon's factory holds ISO 13485, CE, and UKCA certifications and is FDA registered, which matters when you add medical contents to the same program.
